My Metaphor and Intended Audience

I believe that my metaphor (the mirror) is commonplace enough to receive immediate recognition and conjecture about the material that I am going to present. However, the metaphor is also endless in its applications not to leave the viewer of my portfolio jaded. I believe the mirror will help me establish the groundwork for more complicated associations, as demonstrated by the text included.
